We keep your anonymous messages anonymous. We collect the minimum info needed to make Rumur work. We don't sell your data to anyone. That's the gist.
When you send an anonymous message, the recipient won't see who sent it. However, we do keep records on our end for safety reasons. If someone uses Rumur to harass or threaten others, we may need to take action or work with authorities. So be nice!
We use cookies to keep you logged in and make the app work properly. They're the boring technical kind, not the chocolate chip kind (unfortunately).
We use some third-party services to run Rumur (like email delivery and hosting). These services have their own privacy policies, but we only share what's absolutely necessary for them to do their job.
You can ask us to delete your account and all your data at any time. Just reach out and we'll make it happen. You can also ask what data we have about you if you're curious.
Rumur is meant for students. If you're under 13, you shouldn't be using this without parental consent. We don't knowingly collect info from kids under 13 without proper permission.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Major changes = we'll let you know somehow.
Got privacy questions or concerns? Hit us up. We're happy to explain anything in more detail.
